| So why am I here? To show off my art, duh. I don't claim to be a master. Don't get me wrong, I'm good, but I can always learn more. Constructive criticism and advice is -ALWAYS- welcome. Let me say that again... CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM AND ARTISTIC ADVICE IS ALWAYS WELCOME. Secondly, my subject matter. I'm a comic nerd. I love superheroes. I'm also a furry. Yes, one of them. I see you rolling your eyes. I am, however, an aberration of sorts, which is why I'm now both here and on FA. I'm tired of my art being glazed over. I've got talent, and yet, no one gives a crap because I don't crank out piles of pokemon tentacle hentai rape vore cub porn. I -refuse- to draw stuff like that and cater to the lowest common denominator. At the same time, I'm drawing for -me-. I like the process of creation. I like coming up with an original character and idea and seeing it manifest on the page. I get frustrated alot that I can't accurately and stylistically reproduce the things I see in my head, but I'll get there someday. Eventually I'll add a tablet laptop and photoshop to my means and then we'll really be cooking with gas. Quick guide to viewing my character creations. I usually have descriptions to the more fleshed out ones that are integral to the pic, so don't forget to read descriptions. I've been told I make some pretty bangin' heroes. About me? Full throttle gemini. One side of me is friendly, empathetic and generally "bubbily". I'm 26, male, and studying to get my art education certification. I plan to teach art in the 4-7 grade level. Hopefully. The other side, the one that gets displayed most here is a snide smart-ass alpha male. The kind that walks down the middle of the sidewalk with a predatory smile that moves most everyone out of the way. Both sides are good guys though. Really. Ignore the knife. |
